Established in 1994 BluesBeatRadio is one of Australia’s longest running blues radio programs.
Geoff has run the program from around Australia for various community radio stations before settling out in the country (Wentworth) where the show is produced and distributed globally every week.

Geoff has been involved in community radio in Australia since 1992 and commenced his current format with BluesBeat in 1995. He has a long career in Community Broadcasting in both Victoria and South Australia, and has held most positions available in community broadcasting from presenting, producing, technical, board and management positions.
Going strong since 1994 Blues Beat Radio is broadcast nationally via community radio and receives listenership as far as US, Canada and Europe. Musicians globally will launch new tracks | albums on the show.
Curated by Geoff a veteran presenter with over 25 years experience in radio and entertainment and a lifelong passion for the Blues.
Geoff is entering his 30th year of broadcasting, BluesBeatRadio is heard locally, nationally and worldwide.
Geoff has been involved with judging Blues festival and Blues Album awards on numerous occasions. Above all this is his passion for all types of blues music.
Geoff endeavors to bring you 1 hour of the very best in blues, soul and roots from new releases received. Australian content is usually around 50%.
Technology has changed greatly in this period and BluesBeatRadio is independently produced from Geoff’s home studio in Wentworth New South Wales now (on the Junction of the mighty Murray & Darling rivers).
A far cry from when he first started with sending his program to stations and the Community Radio Network satellite for broadcast around Australia.
Back then, recording equipment was a tape deck, and play out two Sony Discmans connected with a small Realistic mixer. Now it is recorded at home on state of the art digital equipment and uploaded to various broadcast destinations around Australia and the world.
